Welcome, I'm glad you're here! I have enjoyed calling Milwaukee home since moving to Wisconsin from Colorado with my husband in 2013. After earning a BA in history from the University of Northern Colorado and studying both history and library science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, I worked for seven years as the Director of Operations at the Nathan and Esther Pelz Holocaust Education Resource Center (HERC) in Milwaukee. This educational non-profit reached over 28,000 students and adults a year across the state of Wisconsin with educational programs designed to promote tolerance and diversity through the lessons of the Holocaust and has given me the opportunity to travel to and study in Israel twice. I recently accepted a new position which allows me to refine my professional skills as the Executive Assistant to the President-Rector of Sacred Heart Seminary & School of Theology. This change in career has allowed for me to focus more time and energy on other important areas of my life. Along with my husband and our dog Ginger, I love spending time in nature - hiking, skiing, camping, kayaking, and snowshoeing. I can also be found gardening, baking, doing yoga, traveling, and enjoying music as well as volunteering for the Bay View Historical Society and Jewish Museum Milwaukee.
Most notably however, I am bibliophile. Simply put, I love books.
